Conceived through a shared passion and sustained by constant dedication, the Atlantic Harp Duo marks its fourth anniversary of performing together with the release of their premier CD, A Journey with Chopin & Sand. The duo was created in 2006 by Marta Power Luce and Elizabeth Jaxon in Paris, France — timeless source of artistic inspiration and cradle of the modern harp.

Both harpists are natives of the Great Lakes Region of the United States, and have performed regularly on both sides of the Atlantic, just recently making their debut in Asia. Through their own transcriptions and by inspiring new compositions, the duo enriches the harp repertoire with their explorations of the combined sonority and increased technical capabilities of two harps. Their dynamic in performance is one of deeply-felt musical agreement and complimentary sound, engrossing audiences from the first note to the last.
